Get Involved with the Anchor It! Campaign

What do Advocates and Community Leaders do?

Anchor It! Advocates and Community Leaders collaborate with CPSC to help raise awareness about the dangers of TV and furniture tip-over incidents in the home. By sharing Anchor It! campaign messages throughout their own communications channels and using printed campaign materials in their local communities, the Anchor It! Campaign community helps to educate more parents and caregivers about inexpensive ways to prevent these tragedies.

Who can get involved in the campaign?

Anyone who has an interest in child and home safety. That includes consumers and organizations focused on child and home safety issues; parents/families who have lost children (or whose children have been injured) in tip-over incidents; and, industry organizations. Other organizations that interact with children and parents/caregivers, such as museums or science centers, are also encouraged to get involved.

What campaign support do you receive?

As an Advocate or Community Leader with the Anchor It! Campaign, you will receive:
• Support from CPSC in the form of free safety materials and website promotion;
• A chance to collaborate with CPSC to share tip-over safety messages; and,
• Help sharing educational materials with individuals and organizations within your network.

How can you get involved?

Contact Patty Davis, Deputy Director of Communications at CPSC, to request an application.
